Tiers and copays/coinsurance

Geisinger Marketplace plans assign prescriptions to 1 of 6 tiers, each with a different copay or coinsurance amount. Your copay/coinsurance depends on your medication rider.

Generally, higher tiers mean higher costs. Additional medications, beyond those in this formulary, may also be covered.
