Eric Galvin
Chief Financial Officer
Eric Galvin is the chief financial officer for Geisinger Health Plan, Geisinger Indemnity Insurance Company and Geisinger Quality Options Inc., collectively referred to as Geisinger Health Plan.
Mr. Galvin joined the health plan in April 2024 and has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He most recently led EmcaraHealth, a national value-based provider group, as chief executive officer. Mr. Galvin has served as executive vice president of EmblemHealth Insurance Plans and as president of ConnectiCare and Affiliates. He has also had a diverse executive experience at Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina and at Cigna leading multiple functions and lines of business.
Mr. Galvin serves on boards of community and civic organizations and advises growth-stage companies.
He is a certified public accountant and a certified internal systems auditor. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Connecticut.
